Biomass stoves burn plant-derived fuel to heat a home or heat water.  Biomass fuel includes agricultural crops and trees, wood and wood waste and residues (including wood pellets, plats (including aquatic plants), grasses, residues and fibers.  Look for wood stoves that meet 2020 EPA clean air standards.
